Caco-2 cells cultivated on filter inserts were treated for 48 h with bexarotene (RXR agonist, 5 μM), T0901317 (LXR agonist, 10 μM), GW3965 (LXR agonist, 10 μM) or the vehicle control (DMSO 0.1%). Protein expression was then determined by western blot analysis. Results were normalized for interexperimental variance and then set in relation to the vehicle control.
