DNA agarose gel analysis of restriction digest of the plasmids ioslated from HP-NAP mutants. The plasmids isolated from the colonies of HP-NAPD98A, HP-NAPY99A, HP-NAPY101H, and HP-NAPE97GY101H mutants (a) or the colonies of HP-NAPE103A and HP-NAPE103D mutants (b) were left untreated (−) or treated (+) with restriction enzymes XhoI (a) or EcoRI (b), respectively, and then analyzed by 1% agarose gel electrophoresis. The two cut DNA fragments shown in a and the linear product shown in b are indicated by the white triangles. Migration of supercoiled (sc) and nicked circular (nc) DNA is indicated.
