Lapatinib exhibited potent inhibitory effects on SKBR3-pool2 tumor growth in vivo. SKBR3-pool2 cells (8 × 106) were injected s.c into the flanks of 5-week-old female nude mice. When tumor volumes reached ~ 80 mm3, mice were treated with vehicle control (DMSO) or lapatinib (80 mg/kg, i.p.) every other day (n = 4/group). A Tumor growth curves were plotted using average tumor volume within each group at the indicated time points. Bars, SD. B & C at the end of the experiment, all mice were sacrificed.
